This half term we are learning ‘The Little Red Hen’ and have been doing lots of fun activities to help us remember the sequence of the story and characters that are in it. The children have been role-playing using puppets and masks, sequencing pictures, acting out the story, making collage story maps and lots of other activities. The children are learning lots of new vocabulary and love re-telling the story in many different forms.

At BIS HCMC, our story is one of connection, continuity, and care — a place where learning begins with curiosity and ends with confident, compassionate graduates ready to shape the world. Earlier this year, we witnessed a moving reminder of this journey, as eighteen members of our Year 13 Class of 2025 returned to the place where it all began: Early Years Foundation Stages.
