Last week teams of students from Year 7, 8, 9 and 12 took part in the Purple Comet Maths Competition, joining over 4600 teams from 80 different countries. The Alpha Capybaras from Year 7 were the top ranking team in Hungary, and came in the top 100 overall.
This week students from Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 took part in the Junior Maths Challenge, we expect to hear that students will have achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze awards and some will have qualified for the follow on Kangaroo or Junior Maths Olympiad.
Students in Year 6, 7, 8 and 9 who got the fastest scores in the Super T Challenge held in school in March will be taking part in the World Super T challenge this week and next week.
