Aaron Priestley

Aaron Priestley brings with him 13 years of teaching experience from schools in UK, South Korea and China, and he is passionate about creating engaging, inclusive, and inquiry-driven classrooms.

He holds a degree in Literature and Linguistics from the University of York and completed his PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status at the University of Warwick. He is currently undertaking the National Professional Qualification in Leading Teaching (NPQLT) to further develop his leadership skills and maximise his impact in the classroom. He strongly believes in continuous professional growth and the importance of reflective practice in creating meaningful learning experiences for all students.

In the classroom, his teaching style emphasises student agency, critical thinking, and real-world application. He aims to build a warm, structured environment where children feel confident to take risks, reflect on their learning, and support one another.

He is committed to helping Year 6 students prepare for the important transition to secondary by developing their independence and metacognitive skills, deepening their understanding across subjects, and celebrating their unique strengths.
